Romans 1:16-24
The righteous live by faith in the message of the gospel, but the unrighteous die by suppressing the truth of God’s word. This resistance:
1) Evokes God’s wrath
2) Seeks to eradicate the signature of God within, which is the very foundation of its existence
3) Darkens perception and emotion
4) Is not thankful
4) Seeks God in the created world or senseless philosophies, anywhere but within itself
5) Prefers the lie over the truth
The unrighteous have given up on God. If they persist, in time God may give up on them.
