Romans 5:3-5
It is reasonable for us to celebrate as we wait patiently for the day when we will be glorified. It will be the day that God will wipe every tear from our eyes. A day when we will be healed of all our infirmities and pain.
But until that glory appears, we will sometimes experience trouble.
What are we to do with our troubles? How should we perceive them? Paul says that we should celebrate them!
We should celebrate our troubles because trouble teaches us how to persevere. And if we persevere, we prove our character. When we look back and see how God has brought us through, our hope is all the more strengthened as we wonder at the deep love the Father has for us!
