A new shepherd for Cornerstone: We continue to be amazed by the abiding love of the Lord and his provision for his sheep. Led by the Holy Spirit, supported by the prayerful unity of the Cornerstone elders, guided and supervised by the Midwest District of the Alliance, we completed a year long process.
We began with an introduction to a preacher. We proceeded to a conversation with a search committee. We sought and received confirmation of direction from the Cornerstone faith community. We have been seeking what our by-laws call affirmation of the Cornerstone membership. The final step in the process ended prior to the start of worship this past Sunday. Member response to the call for affirmation was tallied and confirmed that affirmation was received.
As part of our worship this Sunday, May 28th, 2017, C&MA Midwest District Superintendent Jon Rich led us in the installation of Brother Calvin Robinson as Pastor, Cornerstone Community Church. Join us as we rejoice in the Lord always.
