Looking Forward. An Update From Pastor.

Grace and Peace Cornerstone Family!

I do not cease to pray for you during this tumultuous season of uncertainty. My prayer is that each of you will have all that you need in every area of your life. That He will watch over and keep you and your loved ones safe. God is faithful and He will do it!

I am writing to let you know that our cornerstone ministries are continuing forward in various forms despite the obstacles we are facing because of the pandemic. Our ministry leaders and small group leaders remain committed to your spiritual growth,

  1. Sunday service starts at 9:30am You can join each week on our YouTube Live Stream.
  2. Small groups are continuing to meet through online platforms
  3. Family Time Gathering (led by pastor) Wednesdays at 7:30-8:30pm via Google Hangouts Meet or by phone 1-475-239-1064 (PIN: 511952627). ALL MEMBERS ARE INVITED!
  4. This will be for us an informal time of fellowship where we can support, encourage and especially pray for one another. It will also be a time for us to get to know one another better as we share stories and life together. Fellowship is a main pillar of our church. I already miss our fellowship time after service! If you do too, you will want to come hang out with us on Family Time Wednesday!

  5. Jen, Jane, and Margarita are brainstorming how we can involve our children in a Virtual Easter Program! Each year we look forward to enjoying our Cornerstone Children as they reflect upon the resurrection in their own special way. As of now it appears that we will have a virtual Easter Service, but we still want to see our children involved in some way. Parents, stay tuned for your Homeschool Assignment that will help make this a reality!

At the next Elders meeting we will be considering how to conduct our Quarterly Congregational Meeting. It is important that we keep you abreast of our ministry health and decisions. Stay tuned for more information.

Please keep the elders in prayer s as we diligently work to serve the needs of all our people. Your spiritual growth is our top priority.

If you have a tangible need, please reach out to Steve Li for benevolence coordination.

If you have an urgent prayer request (or any prayer request) reach out to our Prayer Ministry Leader, Ed Lai. You can also share your prayer request in your small group and ask the leader to share with the Prayer Ministry Leader. And f course you can always reach out to the elders.

Lets be intentional to reach out to one another and to check in with one another. And it would also be good to reach out to members outside your small group. Maybe reach out to someone in our congregation that you do not usually spend a lot of time with. Let’s get to know one another!

God Bless our church in this season. And may we emerge soon from this surreal episode closer and stranger than we were before!

God’s Best To You Today!

Pastor C
