Next Sunday, Dec. 1, begins our Advent series: Praying For Christmas – An Unexpected Conversation.
End of the year work pressures, gift buying, exams, decorations, parties, and burning up your unused vacation can easily become our focus in this season. For Christians, the season of Advent is a time to prepare for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. Our Advent series will continue the current focus on prayer by looking at the prayers of Zechariah and Mary. On Christmas Eve, we will have a special family service (the kids can come in their PJs) to help us remember that Christmas is about Christ.
